Hi, I am Kate. I started Medford Online Media (M.O.M. for short) in 2008, when I was handling Product Inventory Management for a friend’s website. That project involved writing, working with Photoshop and researching additional avenues of promoting things online.
At that time, video marketing was really hot, so I started creating short videos for clients, which promoted their products and services. Sometimes these videos were done with music, sometimes with voice narration (by yours truly), and sometimes both. Eventually, I ended up doing voice-over work for quite a few clients, and to this day still do a few recordings a month.
All the while, I kept hearing that “content is king” – and so I opened myself up to writing articles for blogs and websites. Since day one I found my writing to be in demand… and it didn’t stop at articles and blog posts; at different times over the last couple of years, I have created several “auto-responder” campaigns, conquered email marketing, and even created my very own affiliate site (took 3 months!) that sells an eBook.
Since I am a very sociable person, I got swept off my feet a couple of years ago by Social Media. It started with several clients asking me to set up and manage their social media sites – a request I happily obliged. I use Social Media daily for personal and business purposes, and run client accounts which have hundreds of contacts each.
Along the way, I’ve set up numerous Blogger and WordPress blog sites (such as this one), learned a whole lot about SEO and online marketing, and continued to grow every day by learning more and more about the exciting world of Internet Marketing. When you are working withing the realm of the ever changing and capricious World Wide Web, learning never stops!
Today, I happily divide my time and attention between my awesome clients, helping them market themselves online though articles, blogs, videos, voice-over presentations, podcast distribution, Social Media communities, and other avenues, which are too numerous to be all listed here.
I welcome the opportunity to chat with you about your online presence and to answer your questions. Please feel free to peruse my site and drop me a line in the “Contact” section – I’d love to hear from you!
